THEME: RE-FRAMING SUCCESS
Many churches are feeling it.
The ways we’ve defined success aren’t working anymore, but it’s hard to name what needs to change. Growth charts, attendance numbers, and constant programs have left many tired, disoriented, and quietly wondering if there is another way.
The Forge America Summit is a space to pause and re-frame what success means, together.
Rather than offering another model or program, this gathering invites practitioners to re-frame how we understand success through the lens of the Kingdom of God. We’ll create space to listen, reflect, and realign our hearts around faithfulness, presence, and the way of Jesus.
Together, We Will Re-Frame:
Evangelism: Not as a pitch or technique, but as the lived revelation of God’s Kingdom breaking into everyday life.
Kingdom: Not as something we build, but something we are formed by as it breaks into our everyday life.
Mission: Not as a project to manage, but as a posture of presence, love, and participation in what God is already doing.
Discipleship: Not as a program to complete, but as a shared way of life formed in the practices and rhythms of Jesus.
HOW THE SUMMIT DOES THIS
The Forge America Summit offers space for participants to discover clarity, community, and sustainable rhythms for mission. You’ll experience:
Keynote Conversations. Hear from practitioners who are pushing the edges of Christian mission in America, helping us see with new eyes and re-frame what faithfulness looks like on the ground.
Conversational Breakout Sessions. Breakouts led by leaders actively incarnating Christ in their own contexts. These sessions prioritize dialogue, storytelling, and shared learning rather than expert-driven instruction.
Connection with Other Practitioners. The Summit intentionally creates space for meaningful connection. You’ll meet others who are navigating similar questions, pressures, and callings.
After the Summit, you’ll walk away with:
Clearer language and understanding for the work you’re already doing
Fresh imagination for joining God’s mission in your context
Renewed confidence that you are not alone
OPTIONAL PRE-CONFERENCE
Monday, April 20 | 9:00am – Tuesday, April 21 | 11:00am
For those who want to go deeper, the optional pre-conference offers hands-on training rooted in Forge America’s Five Core Principles of Missional Movement: Mission, Context, Community, Formation, & Practice.
Drawing from over two decades at the forefront of the missional movement in the United States, this pre-conference uses a train-the-trainer format designed to equip you to help others engage in mission.
Participants will leave with both conceptual clarity and practical know-how for cultivating missional movement in their own networks and communities.
